About Random Eyesight

Photography to me is a way to stop, breathe and try to capture the world around me. I strive to capture the moment and the emotion of that second in time.

I have always had a fascination with photography, but as i started into scrapbooking, that fascination became a passion. I was amazed at what a 'good' picture could make a person feel that moment in time.

I decided to try putting images on the web, because I was curious to hear what other people would say, as I think many of my family and friends are prejudiced! I would like to improve my skills, as I'm basically self taught and currently don't have access to any formal photography classes or education. So if you stop by, please comment! What you like and don't like and what could be improved.

Photography Equipment

I have three cameras (what can I say, I love cameras).
Canon Powershot S1 - which I don't use that much anymore
Canon Powershot SD 1000 - my daily camera that goes every where with me
Pentax K100D - my first SLR.. and I am in love with this camera and the options that it opens up to me with the different lens, filters and settings
